Community Standards
As part of our ongoing efforts to make Linkme a trusted platform for all users, we've developed these guidelines that go hand-in-hand with our Terms and Conditions. These standards outline the do's and don'ts of using Linkme to keep you and your audience safe. By using Linkme, you agree to abide by these Community Standards.
Regulated/Illegal Goods & Services
You cannot use Linkme to advertise, encourage, or facilitate the sale of regulated or illegal goods, services, or activities, including:
- Weapons, weapon schematics, accessories and ammunition, including firearms and real-life replicas lacking indicators that clearly denote they cannot be fired
- Illegal drugs or controlled substances without proper authorization
- Counterfeit goods or fraudulent services
You may advertise the sale of alcohol with a valid liquor licence, but may not sell alcohol directly through Linkme commerce links. Fantasy sports do not fall under gambling policies and may be freely shared on Linkme.
Adult Content
You can create links to adult content as long as it is legal in your region, doesn’t advertise full service sex work, and is marked as sensitive. You may also advertise adult media that you create and sell on other platforms.
Child Safety
Linkme has a zero-tolerance policy for child harm. You must not upload or link to content that harms minors or endorses harming minors, including child sexual abuse material, solicitation of minors, and imagery featuring underage individuals in inappropriate contexts. We actively report cases of child endangerment to relevant authorities.
Spam & Scams
You cannot use Linkme to spam or scam visitors. This includes linking out to external sites which might collect personal information under false pretenses, phishing attempts, or misleading content designed to defraud users.
Hate Speech
Content featuring hate speech, including discrimination based on religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, color, descent, gender, or other identity factors, will be removed from the platform.
Terrorism & Extremism
Linkme does not allow content that promotes, supports, or glorifies terrorism or violent extremism. This includes content that recruits for terrorist organizations, incites violence, or spreads propaganda for extremist groups. We work with law enforcement and relevant authorities to address such content.
Harassment
You cannot use Linkme to share content with the intention to intimidate, harass, threaten, or bully another person. This includes targeted harassment, coordinated attacks, revealing someone’s private information to harass them (doxxing), and encouraging others to engage in harassing behavior.
Mental Health Content
Linkme wants to be a place where users can safely discuss recovery, but we prohibit content that promotes or idealizes suicide, self-mutilation, or disordered eating. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please reach out to local mental health resources or crisis hotlines.
Disturbing Content
You cannot use Linkme to share content intended to shock and disturb visitors such as gore, mutilation, excessive violence, or physical abuse.
Harmful Activities
Linkme prohibits the promotion of behaviors or actions that could cause physical harm, illness, or even death, including medical misinformation or dangerous “alternative” remedies.
Misinformation
You cannot use Linkme to post, share, or spread misinformation or disinformation. This includes any content that jeopardizes public safety, including but not limited to:
- Manipulated media, documentation
- Content created with generative AI with intent to impersonate, harass, sexualize (e.g., “deepfakes”), or misinform with the intent to harm
- Content suggesting potentially harmful alternatives to medical treatment
- False claims about public health emergencies
Electoral Integrity
You cannot use Linkme to impede local or national electoral processes. This includes:
- Misleading the public about where, when, and how to participate in elections
- Spreading false information about who can participate in elections
- Selling or attempting to sell your right to vote
- Discouraging participation in electoral processes through false information
Intellectual Property
You should not upload content that infringes intellectual property rights, including copyright, trademarks, and patents. If you believe your IP rights are being infringed, please contact us.
Privacy
Maintaining individual privacy is very important on Linkme. We don’t allow profiles that:
- Expose others’ personal identifying information without consent (doxxing)
- Collect identifying information without appropriate legal basis (e.g., explicit consent)
- Expose private media (e.g., image-based sexual abuse, including AI-generated content)
- Share private communications or content without the subject’s permission
Impersonation
Linkme prohibits profiles that impersonate individuals or organizations. This includes:
- Creating profiles that pretend to be another person or entity
- Using someone else’s name, image, or brand to deceive visitors
- Parody or fan accounts that are not clearly labeled as such
- Using AI-generated content to impersonate real individuals
If you believe someone is impersonating you or your organization, please report it here.
Enforcement
Linkme’s Trust & Safety team reviews content and responds to community violation reports. We prioritize removing violative content before considering suspension whenever possible. This may involve removing links that direct to harmful sites, deleting images containing inappropriate content, or applying sensitive content warnings to specific links. Users are notified when content is removed and shown how to appeal if they believe a decision was made in error.

If you encounter content on Linkme that might violate these Community Standards or our Terms and Conditions, please report it here. We take abuse reports very seriously, review all requests, and take action as necessary.
